Tuesday and Thursday at 10:15AM and then a second session at 11:10AM. Great exercise for everyone. Will move all your muscles.
Write a piece from three questions. Read your writings and hear from others. Every Friday at 1:00PM.
We have a Wii that is available for play by the membership. Wii bowling is still very popular with our members. Have fun.
Second and Fourth Tuesday of each month at 1PM. A fast-paced dice game that is a lot of fun to play.
All different card games played daily. Bridge, Pinochle, and 5 Crowns are among the most popular. Many other card games played as well. See calendar for dates and times for our more popular games.
Every Wednesday from 11AM till 3PM. China’s great national past time is played here.
First and Third Monday of each month at 4PM. If you love to sing, this is for you. Dancing has been known to show up here as well.
Every Friday from 10:00AM to 12:00PM. All kinds of art or craft projects. Bring your favorite art or craft project and learn and pass on tips and tricks.
Meets second Thursday of each month at various local restaurants. Great for those who like to socialize over food.
Enjoy playing Bingo every second and fourth Friday at 6PM. We also offer a bingo dinner at 5PM.
There is a monthly movie on the second Monday of each month. The movie starts at 3PM in the downstairs area. There is a concession stand to help raise money for the license to show movies and stream TV shows. See the Upcoming Events to see what the next movie is.
Meals on Wheels for Dallas is at the senior center. You can come in and sign up for home meal delivery. Meals on Wheels also provides a hot lunch three times a week at the senior center, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 12PM. They request a $3.00 donation for the meal. This service is available to all seniors in the Dallas area.
First Friday of the month. Have your watch cleaned and a new battery for $1.00. She will also change hearing aid batteries.
Nurse Next Door: Provides free blood pressure checks at the senior center. They will be doing these checks on first Wednesday of each month from 11AM till 1PM. This service is available to all seniors in the Dallas area.
Grief Support Group: There will be Grief Support Group meeting on the fourth Monday of each month. This group will meet upstairs at 11AM at the Dallas Area Seniors center. This group will be led by Angie Sletten, a Bereavement Coordinator from Serenity Hospice. If you know of anyone who requires grief support, please let them know. This service is available to all seniors in the Dallas area.
Medicare Insurance specialist Lisa Bilgen de Herrera is here the first Tuesday of each month at 11AM – 1PM. Lisa can answer questions and help you navigate the different types of Medicare insurance. This service is available to all seniors in the Dallas area.
